I really like how you have set this up and do hope that you will consider writing more Dante/Ethan (I do like Jaspin as well though). I like the easy way in which Ethan approaches Dante and how he rebuffs him off at first and ends up calling after imbibing enough. I also like the comparison between the two, how Ethan bridges the gap by claiming they are both conmen. Excellent writing and an enjoyable read. You have me asking, what happens next? I love it.
