Ummm.... yes. So, [livejournal.com profile] xidiomaticlogic got me obsessed with a movie that has been sitting around my house unopened since like... 2005. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and I don't mean the CSI or Torchwood episodes. Well, as I said - obsessed. One of my favorite movies!!! It's hilarious and slashy and just, yeah. Do yourself a favor - see it!

And, if you need further convincing --

Enjoy!

KMKMLM - be warned, one way or another, I'll get you to watch it!

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
XD Yeah... either way it was mad of win and lube and lulz. ;_; I need to see it so I can accurately memorize all the lines, damnit.

And she only has a little bit of time - not enough to watch a full movie, so we're going to see an episode of torchwood. >_>; Though, I showed her that trailer and now she really WANTS to see it, so that's enough of a victory until she gets back.

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
made of win and lube. that sentence is epic.

and that sucks, but torchwood is win, too. What ep ou watching?

I need to get together with my friend and get her to watch it. She won't watch the trailer, so... I lose that convincing argument. But I'll try to get her into it one way or another. I think she loves a movie with Val Kilmer in it, so...

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
Seriously, her love of Val Kilmer should outweigh her desire to spite you. Hopefully. XD

And we just watched the second season finale. e_e And... I'm not as sad as I could have been. -clings tightly to favorite character-

Lube and win are closely related creatures, I think. XD

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
Here's hoping that argument works. First I gotta get her to come over here though. *whines about 30 minute drive and work and school*

O_o I haven't seen that episode yet - I will on Saturday, though. Not looking forward to what I know is gonna happen.

And, yes, xD they are.

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. =/ I accidentally saw a couple scenes before watching it fully and I went "meeeeehhhhh!"

Haha, I was just talking to Dad when my friend was talking about watching the movie when she comes back.

Dad: Oh man, that movie was hilarious. The ending though.. totally made me go WAIT WHAT AUGH.
Me: Shut up, it was awesome. They're a great couple.
Dad: Yeah but, I wasn't expecting it and just... yeah.
Me: =P Nyaaahhh.

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
Lol, I'm trying to convince my Dad to watch it - but if you saw the PILES of movies he needs to watch... it'll be another 10 years before he gets to it. My dads kind of impulsive like that. He'll go out and buy movies on Tuesday that none of us have ever heard of that he might have a -slight- interest in seeing. But, he only watches them when he's off - a schedule for which even I cannot keep track of after 17 years - and he watches new stuff - so the old stuff, like this for example, gathers dust, until someone (aka you) comes along and goes HEY CHECK OUT THIS EPIC MOVIE! and then I love you. xD

But, yeah, I'll convince him. Prolly my mom, too, eventually. Of course my dad won't get half of it, he's kinda dense like that.

=( <- Torchwood sadness.

And I think we're making LJ cry again. xP

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
Well, LJ will just have to take it like the bitch it is. I mean... -cough-

My dad's pretty sporadic on the movie-watching, too, though he doesn't go out and buy them. But he has a weird schedule as well, so he only happens to watch movies when I'm watching them and he's around.

It's pretty hit and miss with the slash with him, too. He didn't pick up on Perry/Harry until it hit him in the face at the end of the movie, but has loudly declared he wouldn't kick John Barrowman out of bed. XD

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 04:33 am (UTC)(link)
Cool, we shall have LJ Revenge then.

My dad's theory is that if he wants to watch a movie he doesn't want to have to go out and get it - which is the reason my brother and I inventory them annually - because after a certain point we lose track of whats there - and I've mentioned his insane organizational patterns. And we love in the middle of nowhere, so, it's not like it'd just be a quick trip to Blockbusters.

My dads pretty much entirely obliviousness to slash. Except with CSI - because he's figured out that I'm a Nick/Greg fan - bout time, since it's been like 4 years. He teases me constantly on that... xD And he was like O_________O when he realized the content of the books I wanted for Christmas were pretty much gay porn.

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
XD Damn. It'd be cool to be able to afford to just get a bunch of movies to watch whenever - we live just-on-the-edge-of-nowhere, and only rent occasionally. Dad's thinking about getting netflix again because he can't pirate all the movies he wants to see. =P

Dad was pretty much oblivious to slash until I got him into Torchwood. He knew of my proclivities, but maintained a general "er.. ew" attitude about the whole thing. XD Jack/Ianto turned him to the dark side a bit, I think. He still doesn't have good slash-dar though, as his surprise at the ending of KKBB shows...

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
He gets yelled atby my mom a lot for buying them a lot. But.. meh. And he doesn't do pirate stuff. He doesn't even download music.

He asked why I wanted the books I wanted for Christmas and my reply was: 'Why do you watch American Pie movies? For the fascinating plotline?' That pretty much ended thta argument.

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 04:49 am (UTC)(link)
LOL. XD Haha, that argument, like lube, is made of win. ^_-

And my Dad's an unrepentant pirate like I am. He's pretty cool, all things considered.

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
I know. xD It shuts them up, that's for sure. My brother's coller with the slash, though. I've trained him well. Though he refused to watch Queer As Folk - guess that was ushing it a bit.

I'm the source of music for like 5 people, brother included - which my dad doesn't know about, but hey... whatever. I've snagged a few things off the net. Big Wolf on Campus episodes - which exist nowhere else so I had no choice.

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
-nod- That's how my pirating started. Things you just can't find anything else, and then... it's just so EASY. XD

Heh, I got my little sister into slash. Well, guess she got herself into it, but one day she confessed that she loved the thought of House/Wilson being a couple, and I was like "...I have a whole new world to show you."

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
It's my friends (the one in the comment above/below - in whatever direction) fault I'm into slash. It started out as a joke on her part. She was tryinig to get on my nerves with Nick/Greg stuff and she wrote a really smutty fic for me with them and ever since then I've been a bigger slash fan than her - as evident by the spitefulness of my fandoms.

I tried to find other stuff - but my computer ran out of room. xD And then i had to delete a bunch of stuff so my computer would function again

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
Haha, little did she know... =P

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
Haha, just saw the 3 clips you posted. xD LMAO. They just never stop being funny.

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 05:46 am (UTC)(link)
They don't do they? -giggles- We're such doooorks. xD;

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 05:52 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, I think we've gone way beyond dorks at this point. More like insanely obsessed fancreatures of doom.

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
Lurking in the darkness, de-evolving until we're pale, slimy creatures with no eyes, unable to make no sounds other than "squeeeeeeeee".

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
Dun Dun Dun.

xP But we have to have eyes - so we can see all the slashy goodness.

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
Hmmmm, this is very true. Maybe we'd have enormous, globular saucer-eyes? Or maybe we'd develop a way to absorb slash directly into our skins.

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 06:07 am (UTC)(link)
Yes! And slowly we'd develope Perry-like snarkiness and go around with half of a ring finger. You'd be able to identify people by the characteristics of their fandom.

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
YES. Though I already have a good deal of Perry-esque snark about me... XD I'd end up being a horrible amalgamation of my fandoms, with half a finger, walking with a cane, and holding a stopwatch, with a zipper in my head. XD

[identity profile] csi-sanders1129.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 06:12 am (UTC)(link)
I think I'd look weirder - all of those plus being a werewolf, a vampire, with a cowboy hat and like 10 other things. It would get a bit ridiculous after a certain point. xD

[identity profile] xidiomaticlogic.livejournal.com 2008-04-18 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
-snickers- Now *that* I'd like to see.
