Aug. 26th, 2008 03:51 pmToday wasn't so bad. Got up at 6:50 or so. That was supposed to be like... 7. But when I went snooze my alarm, there was a SPIDER ON MY HAND. Yeah, no ones going back to sleep after that. WHY DOES CHASE KEEP INFILTRATING MY SLEEP??? *sicks Caleb and Pogue on*
Yeah, but, back on track here. Got to school at like... 7:40, sat around in a dark, freezing classroom with 30 some other people til the Bio prof showed up. She's cool. Better than the last one I had. She let us out a few minutes early. Then it was off to Criminology.
That guy's cool, too, although we have to read 'In Cold Blood' by Truman Capote, which doesn't sound all that appealing to me. BUT, we get to do a movie review and I'm going to try and get mine to be KKBB, or at the very least, Zodiac, cause RDJ's in that, too. We had to do this annoying pre-test thingy after he got done going through the syllabus. We got out like... 2 hours early though, so that was cool. I went and read my CSI:Miami book in my usual spot while I was waiting and played on a computer for a bit. Then I headed over to Speech.
That prof is pretty funny actually. xD He never shuts up but he's cool. We only have to do 3 speeches through the semester, so thats not bad. Dunno what they'll be on yet though. However, funny story.
We have this thing where no one can pronounce the name of this one road correctly. It's a big road that runs all over the place. Bel Air road. The thing is... people call it Blair. This annoys the hell out of my dad when he's working with out-of-town trainees, because that's what they'll hear and that's what they'll write down when they dispatch police cars and stuff. The thing is, though, that in the actually town that is Bel Air, everyone pronounces it right. It's weird.
Alright, so he let us out like... 5 minutes late. Oh, after he told us we all had the wrong book. So, since I had to go to the bookstore to get my lab manual anywa, I figured I'd just grab the right book quick and be on my way. No. Turns out I don't have the reciept and its terribly hard to return something when someone else bought it. Managed it though, although I am no 125$ poorer. Buying college books sucks.
Home for a bit now, then going to B&N to get the new SPN book and the book for Crim. Then its off to work until 1am.
