1. Take five books off your bookshelf.
2. Book #1 -- first sentence
3. Book #2 -- last sentence on page fifty
4. Book #3 -- second sentence on page one hundred
5. Book #4 -- next to the last sentence on page one hundred fifty
6. Book #5 -- final sentence of the book
7. Make the five sentences into a paragraph:
Book 1: Inkheart // Cornelia Funke
Book 2: Psych: The Call of the Mild // William Rabkin
Book 3: Tongue-Tied // Richard Stevenson (There's only one sentence on page 100)
Book 4: The Complete Sherlock Holmes Vol 1 // Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Book 5: Telling Lies // Paul Ekman
Rain fell that night, a fine, whispering rain. "I'll try to get him to your office tomorrow morning." Almost as if by plan, we quickly changed the subject back to Charm, Pheromone, and Edward and discussed how we would carry out a visit to them at Charm's father's house up the road. "...It is too much to be balked by so petty an obstacle, when all else had been overcome..." We have a choice, that is our nature.
