Dad and I left at 4, stopped for dinner and got to the place around 4:40. Then we sat around outside until 6 when the doors opened. Luckily it was pleasantly warm and not bitter-ass-freezing. Got the front row, because I am scary fast. Chilled til 7.

First bad up was The Dear & Departed. Before they came on stage, they played the Henry VII song. xD I'd never heard them before, but they were pretty damn good. Didn't know enough to know what they played, but I am currently acquiring their music. The played til 7:30.

At 7:45, the other opening band, Cursive came out. For some reason the music was really loud for them. Not only did I think my ear drums were going to explode, I was also not interested by their music. They played til 8:30 which was entirely too long.

Alkaline Trio came on at 9. People got pushy and shovey here, but no where near as bad as at New Found Glory. Everyone kept their feet mostly on the floor. No bodysurfing! At NFG we has like a barrier up around my cousin, but here we could just leana gainst the rail and we wouldn't be moved. So it was all good. I got an elbow in the abck a few dozen times, but I can live with that. They played til 10:30. Setlist: This Addiction, Armageddon, Emma, Dine Dine My Darling, We've Had Enough, Lead Poisoning, Mr. Chainsaw, Dead on the Floor, Fatally Yours, Crawl, Off the Map, Goodbye Forever, I'll Catch Fire, Continental, 100 Stories, Sadie, Nose Over Tail, 97. They encored with Fine, Attitude (Misfit's cover) and Radio. A bunch of us waited around for the setlist. Security for some reason refused to pull them off the stage - Dad even offered to give the guy $10 and the guy looked rather inclined - eventually we got one of the guys tearing down the stuff and Dad had the longest arms so he won. We headed out back to see who'd come out. All we saw was the bassist of Alk3, so I got a picture with him and he signed the setlist.

All in all, decent concert. :3
