So, I just got back to Frostburg in time for my 6PM class. I'd been home since Friday night - and damnnnnnn I forgot how hard it is to get out of the awesomely amazing sheets on my bed at home. Between those and being sickish, I've pretty much been a walking zombie all weekend (on an unrelated note, it is wickedly hot in my room right now hnnng). Saturday night we all went to a party for my Grandmom (this time last year she was in the hospital after a stroke) and it was fun - I pestered pretty much everyone about my recent obsession with family tree stuff.

Sunday I spent lazing around the house and cuddling with the canines. Around 3:30 Dad and I headed down to DC for the Bon Jovi concert. Took a little over an hour to get there, so not bad times. Hung around, got dinner, etc, until 6:45 when the doors opened. Chilled til 8 when the show started. No opening acts = yay! We were in the 3rd row after the pit section, but between the pit and our rows, there was a catwalkish thing, so that was interesting.

Started at 8, played til like 10:15ish, which was good cause I had a shit ton of stuff to do before this morning (since we left earlyish). Didn't talk much, but he played:

Blood On Blood, You Give Love A Bad Name*, Born To Be My Baby*, We Weren't Born To Follow, Lost Highway, Work For The Working Man, It's My Life*, Runaway, The More Things Change, We Got It Goin' On, Bad Medicine/Pretty Woman, Lay Your Hands on Me (Richie Sambora on vocals). After that, there was a little break and then JBJ popped up on the catwalk thing. Called Sambora over for the first song he did there and then called the rest of his main band over on the third song he did there. Songs on the catwalk include: (You Want To) Make A Memory*, I'll Be There For You*, Love For Sale, and on Someday I'll Be Saturday Night they started wandering back to the main stage. They did Who Says You Can't Go Home, I'll Sleep When I'm Dead/Start Me Up*, Have A Nice Day, and Keep The Faith. Encored with Wanted Dead Or Alive*, I Love This Town, and Livin' On A Prayer*.

(*=awesome songs)

Dad and I took like 900 pictures between us. And I left the flashdrive with all the pics at home. Whoops.

Escaped rather quickly, got home just after midnight. Did a bazillion things, crashed so so so hard and then made it back to school around 2/3 - with enough time to do the homework I hadn't yet done for the 6PM class.

*= For School

There is a notable trend in the books I've read this month. They're all for school. There have also been various partial readings and as of yet unfinished ones, too. I was trying to read at least one fun book this month, but it didn't happen, even though there are a ton of them in my room (between actual books and my nook, I mean).

Goal for next month: read a FUN book. Ideally the BCPI book I've been 2 chapters into for 3 weeks.

Oh. Also, you should watch this. Zombies are not the imminent threat. Crows are They are fucking scarily intelligent. Watch this video, especially - but only if you have 50 minutes to spare.
