The snow covered ground sparkled in the moonlight on the cold February night. It had been over a year since the O.Z. had been freed from the evil Witch’s reign and now everything was more or less back in order. So, tonight, Cain and Glitch sat outside on the balcony of Glitch’s suite, wrapped in a warm blanket, with mugs of hot chocolate, watching the lunar eclipse before them.
They’d been out there for hours now, bathed in snowflakes and the fading moonlight, but they didn’t move. Cain’s arms were wrapped protectively around his lover’s wiry frame, the other man situated in his lap.
“I wonder how many of these I’ve seen.” Glitch mused, as he stared in amazement at the sight above him. “As Ambrose.”
Cain leaned forward, pressing a soft kiss against his Glitch’s neck. “Doesn’t matter, cause you won’t be watching them alone anymore.”
