Major Crisis Averted

csi_sanders1129Okay, so... two weeks or so ago, Stella - a friend of myself and KMKMLM messaged me on facebook to tell me there was a problem in securing a ticket for me for prom because the school officials were being unsurprisingly evil about it. They said the only way I could go is if someone who went to the school bought a couple ticket and listed me as a date. Well, this provd rather problematic. I would have just gotten Stella to list me but she was getting a free ticket and her date was buying a singles one. That conversation was all very complex and I doubt anyone wants to hear it, looking back that convo makes no sense to me at all.
But, that's neither here nor there. The point is, the crisis was solved because my friend Sheldon is made of awesome. We had classes together and middle school and he was the only reason I survived 9th grade French. That class was a snoozefest. But, yeah, he said if I could get the money to him by monday (26th) he could for sure get me a couple ticket with him. He had a date, but they bought seperate tickets so I could go.
But, yeah, since he told me this on the Thursday before the 26th, I came up with a plan. I see Nick on campus pretty much daily. So... since Nick sees Sheldon at school... All parties agreed and so Friday I took the cash for the ticket and Nick and I planned to meet when he got to campus. Of course, that looked like some sort of questionable drug deal - made much more amusing by Nick being Nick-like. I texted KMKMLM when he left 'Drug Deal part 1/2 completed.'
Well, on Monday, Nick gave the money to Sheldon andnow I most definitely have a ticket for Prom - as Sheldon has just informed me.
That combined with getting my Provisional Lisence makes this an awesome day.
