Evidently either LJ or my email (not sure which) is not sending me comment notifications. Very much annoying.

Dad & Zach went to see Ron White. Mom & I went to see Twilight. Again, for me. First time for her. There's only like 1 place in like... the surrounding zipcodes still playing it and the theater was surprisingly packed. The guy sitting next to me asked me if he'd like it, and if it was a chick flick, because his girlfriend dragged him in. I laughed, said it was defintely a chick flick, but I metnioned the few actiony bits. He asked if it was like Lost Boys. And I was like. 'Hahahaha. No, more like the complete opposite.' Titanic? He asked. 'No, not that bad.'

Turns out, he used to live in Forks, he said it was cool seeing all the places they'd filmed and having actually been to some of them.

Movie was just as corny as I remember it being when I saw it with JL and Elise.

And now I really wanna watch Lost Boys.

Work was cool. Started training with Sue. That is mostly the ability to read and lots of laughing at attorneys. It's fun.

I had my Bio & Speech tests today. I flew through the Speech test and I knew most of the stuff on the Bio test, there were a few 'WTF?' questions, but, whatever. Now begins the week of on and off chaos.

I can't go to work until like... 8 tonight because Nash has been noming his bandaged foot (they took him to vet and totally K.O'd him there. It was so funny.) so I have to stay home with him while Dad takes Zach to class. Then, I work tomorrow for 8 hours. Thursday, also known as 'avoid mom like plague' day will be spent avoiding mom like the plague so as not to interefere with anything going on in the kitchen. My grandfather, my aunt and her boyfriend are coming over. Not exactly the epitome of fun. Then, on Saturday, my birthday, I am going to my Grandmother's birthday party. And sometime this century, schedules will coincide and my family + KMKMLM can go to Friendly Farms and have delicious food.

Finished with tagging stuff. Yey! That took forever xD

And I think that was the longest football game EVER. They like stopped the game every 5 minutes to play those stupid field games - like where you get people to make themselves dizzy by spinning around and then make them run and laugh when they fall and all. EVERY FIVE MINUTES. They called them Media time outs or something. And we were so cramped in our section that my mom told us to go sneak int another section. So Zach and I went up to the last row of the section behind us. Of course, the only person around us had an AIRHORN. WTF? I wanted to throw something at him. He was drunk off his ass, too. So was one of his two buddies. We assumed that the third sane member of his party was stuck being the designated driver. Poor guy. And the there was some moron with a BUCKET and a DRUMSTICK. How the hell'd he get that in, I wanna know xD It got so old.

Although, everytime Zach tried to talk to be the obnoxious announcer guy started talking. It was funny. At first. Then I got a headache lol. But, there is a serious flaw in having a football game on a soccer field. 50yd soccer field. Thus pretty much everything they throw is either a touchdown or out. We lost like 67-39 though.

I got a Mariner's shirt. Which is cool, ya know. xD

For those of you who don't already know, there has been a strike scheduled for Friday, March 21st, 2008, during which we hope to have many members of LiveJournal provide LJ with absolutely no content for twenty-four hours. This means no posting and no commenting. If you post elsewhere and have it set up to be posted through a feed on LiveJournal, don't do it. Stay away from LiveJournal for twenty-four hours. That can't be too hard, can it? I know some of you are probably quite active on LiveJournal and will find it hard to stay away for an entire day, just as I will, but this is something that needs to be done, to show the people running LiveJournal that we're watching the changes they are making, that we're paying attention, that we're discontent, and that we want to be heard and taken in to consideration. We are not simply users who can be tossed to the side and ignored. We are the people who make up LiveJournal. Without us, without the content we create, without our words, our voices, our creativity, our participation, there would be no LiveJournal. This is a fact, and it needs to be realized and understood and then taken in to consideration when making decisions regarding the way that LiveJournal is run. The strike is only a few days away, so there isn't all too much time to prepare. While this is unfortunate, it isn't enough to keep this strike from taking place. It will take place, the second it is meant to, and it would be best to have as many people take part as possible. Please, spread the word. Spread it fast. There are only a few days to organize this. If you find that you care about LiveJournal or care about the people you interact with on LiveJournal or simply want it to remain a place where you can entertain yourself without constant censorship and money-hungry practices being thrown in without the consideration of those who use the service, act now. If you don't wish to spread the word, that is fine, but please: refrain from using LiveJournal on Friday, March 21st. Do something else for a change. It's for a good cause. (:

What's this about?

* It's about free and ad-free LiveJournal accounts being abolished for new members, ignoring the advice from the newly-formed Advisory Board.
* It's about LJ staff trying to sneak this decision in under the radar, and when people found out, telling the users it was done 'to make the signup process less confusing'.
* It's about LJ staff failing to apologize for trying to hide the facts from view and for lying about the actual reasons for their actions.
* And finally, it's about the latest decision to hide certain user interests from the list of Most Popular Interests, some of them being fanfiction, bisexuality, sex and depression. This decision was not announced or explained in any way. Users found out for themselves.
