Graham Colton Concert

csi_sanders1129Guh, well, I'm home now. Yey.
Had a dentist appointment this morning that seriously took all of 2 minutes. I swear. And drilling was involved. They bothered, why?
Came home, chilled for a bit, then dad and I left for the concert. The place it was at is Gen Admission, so we always leave early. We stopped at McDonalds for dinner first and then headed over. Turns out, we had no reason to be early at all. Only like.... 15 people were in line when the doors opened at 7. I kid you not.
Hung around doing nothing til 8, when the first act started. We didn't know about this one. She hadn't been listed on the opening acts list. Her name was Hana Pestle. Not bad. She sing like 7 songs total, most her own, expect for the cover of Radiohead's 'Creep'. The only reason I know what song that is, is because of rockband xD And she sung a cool song inspired by some Edgar Allan Poe story, something about a Red Death Ball, which I must find. (Turns out it's 'The Mask of the Red Death' or something like that). She was off by 8:45. Dad sent me over to buy her EP. Got it signed, too.
The next band, Sparky's flaw, came out at 9-9:15 or so. I'd known they were playing and looked up some music. They're pretty good. And the singers fun to stare at. KMKMLM will surely snort at that, because our taste in guys is not at all similar. They didn't cover anything, amazingly, because I swaer every band I've heard there has covered something. When they were done, I went and bought their EP and got it signed by Will <- The Singer. And then ran back and grabbed Dad's camera and got a picture with him ^____^
Graham Colton started at 10:40 or so. I actually remember everthing he played O_O and in order O____________O
Telescope, You Find A Way, First Week, On Your Side, Morning Light, Whatever Breaks My Heart, Helen, Matthew, Jessica (I was unaware of the title of this song until he said it, then I was like O___O), Don't Give Up On Me, Last Few Days/Here Right Now, Always In Love and Cigarette. And then he encored with: Cellophane Girl, he covered 'Have You Ever Seen The Rain?' and then he did Best Days for his finale.
He talked a lot, and joked with all of us. He's awesome. xD And he did twp of those songs Acoustically. Which was cool. And on Cigarette, he got Will from Sparky's Flaw up on stage to sing and play tambourine. =)
Afterwards, he signed and took pictures and stuff. I bought a shirt, and a poster for him to sign =) And dad took a picture of me with him, three times, because the camera kept failing -_- But, at least my eyes are open this time... -_-
All in all, awesome. Aside from the fact that I now have to shower/organize books/go to bed and then get up for school/work tomorrow. And the fact that my dad won't ever stop teasing me about my obsession with the guy from Sparky's Flaw.
Which will have to be when I post pics.

Date: 2008-09-04 05:12 pm (UTC)lol. My friend [Jess] always teases me because we have opposite taste in guys too. lol. The people I like she hates and I really don't like many people that she likes. It's cool in that we'll never fall for the same men.
I hate the drills at the dentist... *sigh* This is why I need Valium or Novacain before any dental treatment. ^_^
Dad's are supposed to tease, it's what they do. You get used to it. ^_^
