Dude! I'm doing some research for my Speech before I have to go to work. I got bored and searched Torchwood. Found an article, and halfway through I get "There's no question that actor Val Kilmer is straight, but his portrayal of the neo-noir private eye Gay Perry in 2005's Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang feels like the first comedic depiction of a gay character in a Hollywood movie that is sincerely funny without ever descending to stereotype or awkward politicization. His Perry is just so expansively human that there's no question of seeing him as anything other than absolutely genuine." Lol, and cue that fangirling that ensues for an article praising both Torchwood and KKBB (OMG, someone outside of LJ has heard of it, evidently) within sentences of each other.

Also, the Speech prof continues to be awesome. Our conversation topics today ranged from Nazis to catering to the no-guns/yes-prostitution laws in Australlia.

Man that sounds hillarious, too bad there isn't a public speaking class at my sixth form or I would totally have signed up. There was a club running last year that Mr. Shaid started but it fell through before it got off the ground :(

Aww, that sucks. I wasn't looking forward to this class much at first (I hate public speaking) but he's too funny to not like the class.
