Only when he’s texting. // 1: I don’t even like to text when I’m not driving. // 2: Oh, you know they made a law about texting and driving. // 1: Oh, no. Actually you can’t send texts, but you can read them. // R: What is that? Why would we even want to text or read while we were driving? // Guy3: Cause diving’s boring. // R: Driving’s boring. Yeah, it is. // Girl: It’s communication! And our culture. And the way that we always have somewhere to be and we’re on a time clock. And we have to answer questions, make dinner plans, organize stuff while we’re driving. It’s to sustain our lifestyle. // R: How the hell did I ever reach this level? I did not have a cell phone when I was a kid. I did not have a ‘puter. I did not have a facebook. //1: You had a typewriter. // R: …Mm, yeah. I did! // Me: Welcome to the Future, right? // R: Do what? Oh, yeah, yeah. That’s right. ‘Hey, wherever we were goin’, well… we’re here!’”
Also, today, the obnoxious kids in my Health class – God, GenEd stuff where there are freshman and brats all over the place are so fucking annoying – managed to srsly piss of the professor. He lectured us for ten minutes about cell phones in class. If you can’t go for 80 minutes without checking your phone, you are in need of help. Checking the time? Get a watch. And ,jeez, they backtalk the guy like all the time. They're annoying, thuse he's annoying thus those of us that do know how to behave in a college classroom get to sit through all teh flack. Dear God. I was more mature at 15 than these people who I would have been in high school with are now at 18 and 20. -_- ARGHHHH!
But, anyway, yeah.
