So, Dad and I left for the concert around 4, stopped for dinner and made it downtown by 4:45 or so. Went in, found a re-he-eally long line already in place. But it was, oddly, moving - despite the fact that the doors didn't actually open til 7. Turns out it was the 'Rockstar Entry' line, which is essentially code for 'You can pay us $10 and stand in a line in air-conditioning, or y'all can just bake in line out here' ... We opted for air conditioning. Granted, it took us until 6 to get into the air conditioning, but whatever. God it was so fucking hot. Chilled inside for an hour tile the doors actually opened and got in before all the folks who stayed outside and/or didn't make the cutoff for getting in early. We ended up standing on the second of the three levels at Ram's Head Live, which is good, cause we got the rail, but also awkward, cause we ended up in a spot where you had like lean over and neck crane to see cause the rail was straight, which is stupid. Chilled til 8, met Dad's friends from work (guy named Jesse - cute and a hugggge Adam fanboy, bit confusing conversation wise with the name thing going on and some girl whose name I forget (Obviously, I can't forget Jesse's...)) Adn we successfully snuck two! cameras in! :D
Allison Iraheta was first up. She only played for 20 minutes, which amounted to 5 or 6 songs. I don't know what most of them were, but I figured out Holiday, Robot Love, Scars, Don't Waste The Pretty (W/ Orianthi), Heartbreaker (Pat Benatar cover) and ended with Friday I'll Be Over U. She was off by 8:20, took 'em 20 minutes to tear down the stage.
8:40, Orianthi started (this was why Dad agreed to go to the concert, it's not even funny how many pictures I deleted, he took ridiculous amounts) Got a picture of a set-list from where we were, somehow. She played: What's It Gonna Be, Bad News, Drive Away, According To You, Suffocated, Think Like A Man, Courage, Shut Up & Kiss Me, and ended with a Prince cover - Let's Go Crazy. She was off by 9:15.
Adam came on stage at like 9:45, after the played For Your Entertainment over the speakers, in full glammed out attire (his hair was so sparkly xD) and with his entourage-y people (2 guys, 2 girls who did choreography and such that looked really cool). Opened with Voodoo/Down The Rabbit Hole/Ring Of Fire(cover, obvs). Then he did Fever (he really likes tugging on his bassit's hair, for the record) and Sleepwalker. Whattaya Want From Me was next, and he was acoustic and mellow, sitting on a stool for that one. Dad actually liked it (funny considering the first time he heard that song, his response was 'THAT'S ADAM LAMBERT? I thought a girl was singing this song!') Soaked was next and really intense, and then Aftermath, which was also acoustic and mellow and calm. From there, he played Sure Fire Winners, Strut (xD insert the crazy pimp!cane here), Music Again, and If I Had You. Encored with Mad World (Tears For Fears/Gary Jules cover and also the song that plays on GH when Franco is lurking around... -_-) He was done by 10:45 and we made it out of the venue/garage decently fast. Home at like midnight. :)

Also,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to STEVE BURTON <3
