csi_sanders1129So, saw Sherlock Holmes today. OMFG IT WAS AWESOME. The critics who didn't like it were clearly not watching the same movie. If they were, they should try it with slash goggles on.
Seriously folks, could Holmes and Watson have had more of a bromance going on? The jealously alone over Watson getting married and leaving was enough to hook me. It wasn't exactly subtle, all of his attempts to keep Watson around. For brilliant minds they seem rather oblivious to what really seems to be going on between them, illegal as it may have been or not. Ugh.... what else? The banter was awesome and hilarious 'Get that out of my face.' / 'It's not in your face, it's in my hand.' / 'Get what's in your hand out of my face.' Lol, too awesome and hilarious. Ummmm... the explosion. Knew he wasn't going to die (though I am seeing a trend in RDJ's companions in movies getting killed-but-not-killed (KKBB)) I totally didn't realize at first that Holmes was posing as a Doc so he could see Watson when he was all hurty and exploded, but it became about 0208478387627473 times more awwww worthy once that clicked - that he risked getting caught just to know that he was okay. And Watson diving on him to save him when the ship fell and all. So loyal and dedicated. Ugh... the jail argument was amusing too 'doing experiments on my dog-' 'our dog' -the dog.' Lol.
Hopefully I will get some fic going for them in the near future. I've already spent the day wandering through the scary dephts of the Sherlock_kinkmeme. So, we shall see.
