*yawn* Okay, here we go.

Keith Urban & Carrie Underwood - Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy Carnical Ride Tour - Concert

My dad picked me up from Chem lab around 3:50 and of corse we got stuck in traffic on the way home. =_=. Never any other day, just today. But we got home around 4:40 or so.

We ate something quick and took the dogs for walks and then we were out the door again by like 5:20. We hit that traffic again on the way down to where the concert was. We got there around 6:30 or so, and walked to the Arena from the parking garage.

I bought 2 shirts on the way to our seats - a KU one and a CU one and we got settle for the hour before the concert begun. We had pretty good seats. We were in the 5th row in one of the lower sections. They had a stage where it usually would be and then another thing oming out - lke a catwalk kinda thing that turned into a big circle out in the middle. We were facing like where the circle turned into the catwalk and all we had to do was look left to see the stage. At 7:25 they started a 5 minute count down for when Carrie would come out.

She was pretty good - a few too many wardrobe changes, IMO, but nonetheless, pretty good. I know pretty much all of her msuic, too.

She played:

Flat On The Floor
Wasted
Get Out of This Town
The More Boys I Meet
Just a Dream
Jesus, Take the Wheel
I Know You Won't
I Ain't in Checotah Anymore
Crazy Dreams
I Told You So
"Some Hearts" medley (Lessons Learned, That's Where It Is, We're Young & Beautiful, Some Hearts)
Last Name
Don't Forget to Remember Me
Twisted
All-American Girl
So Small

And encored with:
November Rain
Paradise City (cover of Guns N' Roses song)
Before He Cheats

I was surprised she didn't play Wheel Of The World - you know, considering that that's where the name of her tour comes from. 'Carnival Ride'

She finsihed around 9 or so and then there was 30 mins set up time for Keith Urban.

He was great - I know less of his stuff, but he was awesome. And, brave, too. xD He came out into the crowds n all. He gave someone like 5 rows in front of us an autographed guitair. And he stuck around when the concert was over to run around once more. Most of the people I've seen have been outta there the second their encore is done. Someone had a sign that said 'My Better Half wants a hug for her 40th birthday' or something and he gave her one. xD

But, yeah, anyway, he played:

Once in a Lifetime
Where the Blacktop Ends
Shine
Faster Car
Raining on Sunday
Stupid Boy
Used To The Pain
You’re My Better Half
Making Memories of Us
You’ll Think of Me
I Told You So
Days Go By
You Look Good In My Shirt
Tonight I Wanna Cry
Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me
Somebody Like You

Encore:

Got It Right This Time
Better Life
Everybody

Somewhere in there he did a duet with CU of Tom Petty's 'Stop Draggin' My Heart Around' Which was epic. xD

He played until 11:20 and then we all headed out. The parking garage was a madhouse - as expected but we got home around 12:30 or so. And then I watched an eisode of It Takes A Theif and went to bed. Lol.

I'll post pics later on. My dad went back to sleep cause he got up early to get John Mayer tickets. xD So when he gets up I'll ask about the pics.
