So I have to make a board game for my Adolescent Lit class. There are other options for projects (lesson plans, videos, cartoons) but this involves less of my awful drawing skills. I'm using Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief as the book I'm doing it on. I've come up with some questions (we need at least 200) but I'm not sure if I should do multiple choice or just simple answers? And then I need to find an old game board or something. I'm thinking I'll find pictures of a lot of the places they go in the book and collage them onto the board and end it at Olympus. Need to figure out some sort of figurine pieces, too. And rules. Fun.

Any ideas, anyone? No one I know has read the books. :(

ETA: Written 200 questions. Made up game pieces. Made plans to meet with an artistically inclined friend to help design the board. Still have to make up rules and figure out how toreinforce the game peices (which are only on computer paper)

I've never read the books, so I can't help you with that part, but I'd recommend a variety of types of questions, some multiple choice, some simple answer ones, some true/false. If you want them to end at Olympus, you could always turn Candy Land or Chutes and Ladders into the game, or find another game that does too.

Can I help, please. I love the Percy Jackson books and apart from a huge crush on Logan Lerman I hate the film. Are the questions supposed to be educational about greek mythology or more about if you've paid attention to all the fun points of the book. You could do multiple answers and grade each one to how far you could move around a simple board game like monopoly.
Like for example. If asked how to get to Hades. Play with Ceberus is 1 move and bribe the ferryman is 2 moves. If this isn't helpful I could try again.
