Ugh, hurricanes!

We're as safe as we're getting here, surrounded by gigantic trees. Have supplies, a generator, charged electronics, a surplus of flameless candles, plenty of books, food, water, and blankets. We had clean gutters yesterday (because 3 hours on the roof can usually at least yeild that) but you'd never know it now. On the plus side, there shouldn't be any leaves left on the trees after this.
