I actually wouldn't have minded losing to them, of all teams. Steelers or Pats, hells yes, but if we'd have had to lose to someone, I'd want it to be them.
You shoulda seen Baltimore, jeez, people were literally dancing in streets and car-surfing and stuff. My Dad (911 Dispatcher who had to work the last half of the game) was not amused.
Such a great game! I was dying in the last 30 minutes or so. I couldn't handle it! Go Ravens!!! I wish I was home in Baltimore right now, but school is calling. lol
After Ray Rice's fumble, we switched to the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet, which my dog enjoyed watching way more. Flipped back every oce in a while to see how many more nails I needed to chew off and how many more holes I needed to wear in the carpet. xD Baltimore was crazy! Dancing in the streets and stuff! My neighbors were shooting off fireworks for like an hour afterward.
I actually watched part of the game this year! (Which is a first for me, considering I typically avoid watching sports at all costs, haha!) Gotta say my favorite part was the company and commercials, although I did get sucked into the game there at the end.
I'm not usually into football so much, but everyone around me is, and they're kind of contagious... Plus I live like 45 minutes away from Baltimore City, so everything's been purple here for a while.
The Commercials were awesome (when they were not awful) -- my favorites were the lucky chair thing, the Clydesdale thing (T_T) and the Tide stain thing.
Ha, you got sucked into the game when none of us could watch it - we switched to the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet. Which was way less stressful, way more cute, and intrigued my puppy much more than the SuperBowl.
Ooh, I really liked the Clydesdale one too! Thought it was my favorite, but then I saw the one from Dodge, and I just. Wow. Sometimes people ask why I want to major in agriculture, and that summed it up better than anything else ever has. I'm talking misty eyes, this huge sense of pride for my friends/colleagues/profession, and that warm little kernel of satisfaction. :') /is a bit of a nerd
