Kiss Kiss Bang Bang does not make for a good TV Movie. It was on TNT last night. It's no where near as fun without all the cursing. They bleep like half of the robot rant.

And they make this:

Harry: Oh Wow. Woo. It's tiny. Is this real?
Perry: Yeah, it's a Derringer. It's loaded. I call it my faggot gun.
Harry: Because...
Perry: Because its only good for a couple shots, then you gotta drop it for something better. You asked, Chief.

Make no sense at all by cutting out half of the conversation. -_-

I never realized how many times they say fuck.

GAH. And they cut the dictionary bit out of the Vektor rant. WTF is that??? That's like one of the best lines in the movie! They cut a lot of stuff from the club scene, too. ... But we get the whole not good cop bad cop thing. WTF? We did, however, get all of the 8% scene, which almost makes up for the loss of the dictionary line. Almost.

Haha, and they totally voiced over 'Captain Fucking Magic'. And it ended before we got the narration scene at the end. Uncool. Totally uncool. At least assuming it was not at all over the 2hour mark, lest it might have simply gotten cut off.

In other news - aside from betaing - which I need Zach to do, I'm finished with my KKBB fics. ^_^ Once is nearly 2000 words, the other is like 4.5k. O_O Now I can get back to some other fics.

Why I am up at 4 O.o SIX am, is beyond me. And I'm going to pay for it later.

Hee! I actually watched that too - I was on customer service the whole time, though, so I didn't get to pay much attention. I have a sort of weird love of seeing how the movies get edited down for TV. Yeah, this one got pretty bad. They cut the peeing on the corpse thing entirely! My favorite, though, was the marker scribble over the obvious word on the videotape label "Lord of the Cock Rings".

For true TV editing hilarity, try to catch "Mallrats" on television. Not exactly a complex movie, but by the time they're done with it, it makes no sense.

Lmao, I just love watching the edited version first, then buying the DVD and being like O___O Um, awesome. So much better. xD
